Senior Rules of Play
- No Alcohol allowed outside fenced off area. Failure to comply person/s will be asked to leave the ground. Also possible loss of points and fine.
- Match fees to be paid, and match card stamped prior to the game commencing. Maximum kick Off delay is 5 minutes, after which game will be deemed forfeited.
- Forfeit game = $45.00 fine (to pay referee fees). Result of game 5-0
- 4 second rule applies on dead ball situations (referee's discretion)
- Goalkeeper not allowed out of penalty area. (Penalty sees 7)
- No players allowed in penalty area (i.e. D).
Failure to comply - defending team See 7, - attacking team if inside before shooting, goal kick.
Free kicks edge of "D" to be taken 3 metres outside of area, to allow defending teams minimum 3 meters away. This distance applies to all free kicks in general play. ALL FREE KICKS ARE INDIRECT (apart from rule 7). Foul committed on last player Ref may decide on a penalty kick
- Penalty kick Top of "D" penalty area.
- No slide tackles.
- Goalkeeper can't throw or kick the ball over half way line on the full at any time, failure to comply results in a free kick on halfway line.
- Goal kicks to be kicked by the Keeper only. Also back passes, same as local rule (not allowed to pick up ball).
- Interchange made on halfway line. Please promote fair play by not bringing players on in a defensive position.
- Referees to use "Sin bin" for illegal play instead of Yellow Cards (approx 4 Minutes).
- 2 Sin Bins in one game, same as red card, Min. 1 week suspension (discretion of judiciary in conjunction with ref's report.)
- No unregistered player permitted on the field.
- Minimum of 4 players on the field at any time, including goalkeeper or game is deemed a forfeit (5-0).
- No offside rule.
- Two 20 minute halves, no half time (unless weather conditions are excessive).
- Soccer boots. Molded RUBBER (grass boots, sneakers, and joggers etc are not very safe) as grass surface can become slippery with moisture or rain.
- Protective shin guards Compulsory.
