U11's Champion of Champions Grand Finalists - 2005
On Sunday 30th October the Camden Falcons Under 11 Division 1 soccer team represented the Macarthur District Soccer Football Association at the Champion of Champions Grand Final. To reach the grand final the team had won the Macarthur district premiership and then won four rounds of the Champion of Champions competition where they faced teams from across NSW. It was an early kick off at 8.30 am at Valentine Park, Glenwood with rain falling constantly during the game. The Falcons team lost 3-0 to the Sydney Juniors Team who represented the Southern Districts Association. Great skill was shown by both teams and the match was of the high standard expected at this level of competition. At a function after the game at the Falcons club house, Mr Alan Moss, the club President stated that he and the club were proud and pleased with the team's efforts throughout the whole season and in their winning a place in the Champion of Champions Grand Final. He went on to say that it is an exceptional achievement and he looks forward to the team returning next season.
